On the initiator of the project:
Alfonso Hernandez (May 1982).
Mexican nationals, with a bachelor's in Computer, a graduate of the
CONALEP education system and student Telematics Engineering at the
ESAD of the SEP system. Had the idea to start the project since
2006, because the problem is that represents the search of
information on computer on the Internet, as most sites have the
following characteristics:
a) They are too outdated
b) All items are written in highly
technical language
c) They are written in other languages
d) Do not stick to the technological
reality |
Because of this, decides to launch a Web site that conforms to the
technological reality not only in Mexico but in Latin America, that have
a technological innovation, this can be issued immediately and be
available to all, using language that is understandable for any user
even if not expert in the field understand the terms used. In August
2007 he wrote his first article on the then innovative USB flash memory,
and thus began a long research on various topics to which most students
resort.
By January 2008,
after a series of decisions on the name of the new site (call first the
idea was Informaticadelinea-Referring to something very new or the last
line and then NuevaInformatica-name that was registered before us-);
decides to call InformaticaModerna.com, acquired the site and from that
moment was born the aforementioned website. In May 2006 the site was
formally formed, providing the first items of information are also
starting date and the first visits
of users. Notably TodayComputing.com born in December 2011, is the
younger brother of InformaticaModerna.com and their respective English
version.
Over time the
site is consolidated and currently competes in results on the Web with
sites as important as Wikipedia, MercadoLibre and ConozcasuHardware,
there have been records of visits to 220.000 views monthly and long ago
exceeded its first million visitors. The future is contemplated
TodayComputing.com be extended with the issue of data networks, which
will go from ± 225 to ± 280 pages pages and redesign the site with
the HTML5 standard and Flash.
